My Internet Business Model – How to Create a Free Report
If you want to be successful in the internet marketing world, you need to follow a proven internet business model. One thing you will always need to be focusing on is building your list. The best way to do this is by putting an opt in form on your webpage and offer your visitor something for free in exchange for their email address. Your offer needs to be something of value, and give the visitor a good reason and desire to opt in. The stronger your offer, the better response you will get from your website visitors.
Although it needs to be good, it does not have to be perfect when you are starting out. People always seem to struggle with creating their piece of free content to give away. They put way too much time on it, and never get it done, and therefore never get many opt-ins, which leads to not making much money. There are many things that you can do quickly and easily, like interview someone, record a series of videos, type up an email course, or create a free report. In the rest of this article, I am going to focus on creating a free report, because in my opinion it is the easiest one to make happen.
You can spend an hour or so just typing this up on your own, but I am going to show you an even easier way to get this done in less than 15 minutes. On your squeeze page you should have a list of 5-10 benefits that your readers will get for opting in to your website. If you do not have this yet, find out what the top 5-10 problems that the person you will be targeting is facing and give them the answers. Once you have these 5-10 benefits in hand, its time to get the content.
Go over to EzineArticles.com (or any other article submission site) and type in the first benefit into the search bar. You should get plenty of articles, addressing that specific benefit. Take that article and copy and paste it (with the resource box included) into a new word document. Repeat this process until you cover all of your benefits. The goal is to get 2 articles per benefit, so if you have 5 benefits, you will have 10 articles that make up your free report.
You can format this document to be nicer looking if you want, and you can add anything you want to it. Try not to spend too much time on this though because the goal is to have it done quickly. It is important to remember to leave the resource boxes in the report. DO NOT remove them… It is against the law, and not even close to being a cool thing to do.
Once you have your formatting complete, then download a free converter program such as primo pdf, and turn your word document into a pdf. You now have a free report to offer your potential website visitors and it is directly focused on their biggest questions and concerns.
